If you were to die tomorrow could you say you lived a life to be proud of?
I thought about this quite a bit on the way home from the firehouse this morning.
There is no right or wrong answer, either yes or no. If yes, fantastic! If you are comfortable with no then great!
If by saying no it makes you ponder, then (and this is just a suggestion) maybe it’s time to sit down, re-evaluate where you are headed and create a change that fits your lifestyle.
With my words of wisdom I am always happy to hear from people and how it relates to them. Today I would like everyone who reads this to tell me what they are most proud of in their lives.
Then pass it on! I want to hear from as many people as possible!
It seems to me we live in a world of negativity, sooo….
Maybe just maybe if enough people read this and answer that one simple question, we can awaken our feelings and create a more positive atmosphere in our lives? Just a thought.
Carry on that is all…

I feel I can be very proud of one accomplishment in particular – holding the hand of my 6 year old cancer-ridden child back in 2003. I took a leave of absence from work and together we spent the better part of one year in the hospital while she underwent chemo, many surgeries, radiation and way too many very unpleasant pokes, prods, tests and scans. I was her champion and her cheer-leader. And now 10 years later I’m so happy to say she is quite healthy and robust. My “ex” baled out on us shortly after that year, but that’s ok now.
That is a very inspirational story! Thank you for sharing! To love and care for your child the way did is an example we can all learn from. God Bless.
I am proud of the life I left behind. My exhusband and I worked hard to make a wonderful life during our marriage and raised a wonderful son. I am proud of the choices I made at the time. Now, moving on, I want to regain my confidence and nurture a new sense of pride. I want to be led by my heart and not let myself be held back by fear, over-thinking, or practicality.
Sounds like you have a plan. Follow it through and enjoy the journey..
My children, the most important “job” I’ve ever had.
